expensive to shoot? Mine was. I bought one of these 22 LR conversions. Its a Johnathan Arthur Ciener conversion. I know you can buy a brand new Ruger 10/22 or similar for the same price or cheaper, but its just not as fun as shooting an AR. It is a simple conversion that takes second and works pretty well. Just take the bolt out and replace it with this. easy slide in and out. I shot 50 rounds today and only had one minor problem which I blame on bulk 22 ammo. I think I got a weak round that wasnt strong enough to reset the trigger. It did cycle the round, but the trigger was still back. I didnt get to shoot any paper so I cant tell you how well it groups, but It seemed fairly accurate shooting at Hurricane Ike debris.
